Alex was a curious child that loved to learn.
Alex learned how to walk and talk.
Alex learned to feel and heal.
Alex learned not to steal.
Alex learned how to play.
Alex learned chess and poker with dad.
Alex wished for math and science books for their birthday.
Alex loved playing with computers and the internet.
If there was something Alex did not know they looked online.
Alex loved playing with data.
Alex loved playing video games.
Alex wanted to become an Engineer.
Alex became a scout.
Here Alex was taught a lot.
Alex was taught to be a good friend.
Alex was taught to help where you can.
Alex was taught to be one you can trust.
Alex kept learning in school, at home and online.
Alex was taught to care for the body, to see a doctor when ill.
Alex was taught to help do basic first aid for the ones in need.
Alex learned about their ancestors and where they were from.
Alex learned about how to leave earth better than we found it.
Alex was taught a second language.
Alex was taught about money.
You can spend, save, invest and give.
Alex was taught about jobs and business and taxes.
Alex was taught taxes should be collected and spent fairly to keep society together.
Alex was often taught what was going on around the world.
Alex was taught a lot about rights.
Alex was taught about crimes against humanity.
Alex was against immoral wars and attacks on civilians.
Alex believed in world peace.
Alex loved democracy and free speech.
Alex respected other people’s opinions and beliefs.
Alex voted for the first time at 18.
Alex learned early about the law.
Alex tried to be ethical.
Alex tried to be moral.
Alex did not play the lottery but would sometimes try their luck on rare opportunities.
Alex did not take out loans or debt before asking someone smarter first.
Alex did not have to pay to go to school.
Alex started high school studying their favorite subjects.
Alex joined the cool club and played in the facts-competition for three years in a row.
Alex learned how to code and do math on a computer.
Alex was having fun learning every day.
In the last year of school Alex began getting into trouble.
Alex wanted to learn how to drive a car, as most cars could not drive themself.
Alex failed the driver’s test many times.
This was because Alex was not aware enough of the traffic around him.
Alex was not allowed to drive.
High school was set to be over for Alex in less than a year.
Alex had not been taught what to do in life.
Alex began feeling lonely and confused.
Suddenly almost overnight Alex started feeling terrible.
Alex began dealing with insomnia, anxiety, anger issues and severe depression.
Alex thought there was no point of it all anyways.
Alex became suicidal.
But Alex did not take their own life.
Alex was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital for the first time on the 18th Birthday.
Alex was hospitalized for one month.
Then Alex was in bed, at home, bored, all day every day for five months.
Alex began the last year of high school again.
Alex wrote a paper on Artificial Intelligence and the future of Surveillance.
Alex was very proud of the paper.
Alex started paying themself first every single month.
Alex graduated high school.
Alex was sad on graduation day, because Alex felt the grades were not good enough.
One month later Alex got into their favorite University.
The grades Alex had stressed so much about were enough all along.
For a while Alex grew a lot.
Alex began studying at The Technical University of Home.
Alex moved out, got a roommate, a part time job, a driver’s license and a car.
Alex was coming of age.
Alex was hit by lockdowns due to a global pandemic.
Alex had to stay home to prevent the spread of a virus.
Alex disliked online school.
Alex struggled to focus while being alone.
Alex plagiarized some code.
Alex got a written warning, the lowest grade and could not retake the course.
Alex thought this course was important for the future.
Alex got rejected to live his American Dream of studying abroad.
Alex' University Grade Point Average was 0.1 too low.
Alex was working many hours teaching math.
The hours were uncertain and gas prices high.
Then Alex got hit by inflation and a recession.
Because of a war in a foreign country that Alex had little to no control over.
Some of Alex’ limited income that went into investments came crashing down.

Alex believes in the long, long term.
Alex loves teaching.
But Alex felt working as a teacher under the current conditions was almost not worth the downsides anymore.
Alex wanted to quit the job.
But Alex had signed a contract with a long notice.
Alex kept working.
Alex was also trying to create a startup on the side.
Alex was stressed out again.
Alex was feeling financial stress and was failing their own classes.
Alex did not ask for help.
Alex wanted to be an independent adult.
Alex began doubting themself and started hating the studies.
Alex wanted to drop out.
Alex felt like they were failing at life.
Alex was hospitalized at a psychiatric hospital for the second time, but was quickly let go.
Only a few weeks later Alex was back and hospitalized for the third time.
Alex was hearing voices, had delusions and had psychotic episodes.
Alex got a diagnosis.
Alex got access to free and affordable medicine.
A couple months of hospitalization went by.
Alex slowly started feeling better.
Afterwards Alex took half a year off.
Alex went to life school.
To play some sports and touch some grass.
The following year Alex restarted the studies where he left off.
Alex got admitted for his American Dream of studying abroad.
This was Alex' second chance.
Alex got approved for an additional student stipend due to disability.
Alex took the plane to go study abroad.
This was Alex’ first time living in another country.
Alex arrived at Armstrong University.
Alex had an amazing first week with many new international friends.
Alex wanted to see if he could get a job helping to develop the future of technology.
Alex started thinking about ways to stand out.
During the first six days of the week Alex spent many hours rewriting the resume, building a personal website and wrote over a dozen blogposts.

Alex started writing inspirational quotes next to photos of Alex and friends.

Alex wanted to do more.
Alex wanted to get involved.
Alex wanted to say political opinions and teach others about the stuff Alex knew.
Believe in Science.
Climate change is real.

Then Alex started posting about some of the things Alex had researched the most.
We need to strive towards becoming a multiplanetary species.
Self-driving electric vehicles are the way of the future.
We need to invest in Clean Energy.

Invest in new Technology.
Invest in Mental Health
Invest in our Nature
